Physics Huh

You see the same car brand once in the morning, you feel nothing, you see it twice, you still feel nothing, you see it three times, fourth times, When you see it for thebfifth times and more in the morning 45-minute-run-errands in town, you start to wonder since when everyone is cling to this brand as if it's the veggies on the discount sections. Even that said, you manage to convince yourself it has nothing to do with you and live your life. Something, let's call it the universe, may notice it has not cause ripples in your mind. "I gotta do more." It said. Then, one night, when you finally walk into the air you can breathe without a mask. There it is, the car,  parking right ahead of your way, lights are on, no sound of engine. "Oh my goodness, you came here? To wait for me finishing the job? That can't be, we lost contact for months, besides why would you do that?" Just in a second you manage to explain to yourself the reason you got the sparks in your head was because these words — if we were in the same town I'd go there to eat and wait for you to finish the day and ask you go out for a date, in the old-schooled way... were sent to you. Words are words, not action, nobody has passed your ordeal and set the calculation of costs aside to come get you. You know that clearly. "I'm alone, fucking love it." You are in peace again. You continue walk into the chilly June night, the goosebumps on your uncovered arms asking for the coats youv've packed and stored for autumn, yet, you decide to not take them out again in the summer time no matter how cold it can be.

If every car represents a personality, then it's not easy to not relate the car to the person who owns it. And that person is YOU, no matter how many rows of wraps you put on yourself. If in any case my judgement fails and it's really not you, the thing happens because it's regarded as you.

Hence here comes the physics, it's science, not some superstitious consciousness. They named it Quantum Entanglement. The field of someone's longing is so strong that it cross the biggest ocean and the highest mountain, to manifest in actual shape in your reality. You're waiting, but the far-far-away fear in that field has temporarily got the situation. That fear has subdued the one-of-the-kind in your mind. The fear makes you underestimate what your one-of-the-kind is capable of. Just like your one-of-the-kind never believed in not-blood-related love until your existence was found, you has no faith in your one-of-the-kind.

Regardless, physics is physics, something we shouldn't doubt, something we all can feel safe to believe in. No matter how far away, they are capable of feeling each other as one.

Can't Hold Back

My Tears. I gotta cry, now. How many times? How many times have I told you to not cry when you thought of him? Look what you've done today! I warned you to hold back the urge to drop that broken pearl necklace from your eyes. Look what you're doing now! Crying your fucking heart out the same as that day in the city where you two met? You're not even in that town now! 10000km away from where you met. 188438400 seconds have passed since that day!  Allow me cry for ten minutes please, then, I can continue to numb my mind by the endless trivialities. Physical pain is the cure to that invisible yet so much more painful chat in my mind.

Blue vs Red

Two officially compatible colors are running at your town. Who will win? The blue me or red you? The answer is easy—the one who loves more will win.  We love each other equally. The universe saw it. But what I'm loving? There's nothing there now, not a single word. The fact you enjoy being a stranger to me us is a hard fact I've learned to accept.

Aroma

At night, the aroma of Mama's food still lingered the air in the house, as if mom just cooked us a delicious meal as those countless old days. I waited for mom's call from the kitchen to ask us to eat, but no sound. I kept the light on as usual, I wrapped myself in the cotton blanket, I closed my eyes. "Mama", I whispered.   I was long for mung bean pastry, a snack I loved since the first time I ate. So I decided to make it from scratch. One important ingredient is the lard. I noticed a bowl of fatty meat in the freezer for a while. So I took it out, defrost it. When it was boiling in the water, a lot of garlic gloves and dried shrimps were separated into the water. The images of mom peeling garlic and adding spices to the meat flashed in my mind, I held the spatula to stir the meat, so that my tears wouldn't drop. Then a familiar aroma of Mama's food drifted in the kitchen. I thought of the days mom cooking in the kitchen, I breathed deeply, I felt safe in th...
