Mission

The mission of a healer is to heal as much as it can during its interaction with the present of its existence.

A naturally born healer never knows what was done particularly to let the other feel healed. Just the repeating reviews like "I should've died if you weren't there", "I'm saved" made the healer ponder its mission in this existence. 

But what's the difference between a profession and a mission? You can choose a profession, you get paid from the hard work of your profession. You get excited for the new problems occurring in your profession, because solving it means another tremendous income. You can't choose the mission assigned by the one from the sky. Like it or not, you gotta do it. You burnt yourself to accomplish the mission, yet no rewards should be expected, the mission deliverer cares only about the outcome, as to how you get the mission done is not in the deliverer's consideration. So, burnt or not in the healing process, nobody cares, all you got to do is to get one mission done, then wait for another to hit you up, heal again by all means, zero paid, of course. 

Good thing is that the mission is not infinite, unless the healer is immortal. Somewhere unseen, there must be a recorded number of missions should be done before the healer's oblivion. 

Never could the healer imagine facing the heaviest mission ever, bet its whole life on it, risk all, yet no progress. Maybe, just maybe, this is the final mission, when it's done, the healer will eventually be free from this existence.

The script for the healer: only when all the missions are done can the healer get away from the universe it exist.
